Always looking for a new pho place to try I knew this was next on my list. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday night at 8:30 pm so that was a good first sign. We received menus immediately and ice water. Pho tai is my go to but I decided on pho with flank and brisket this time along with the usual rare steak. The boyfriend had bun bo hue his favorite. We also ordered egg rolls to start. Very crispy and piping hot. Could have had a bit more meat but it comes with quite a few pieces so no complaints. Bowls of pho came out not too long after that. My bowl of pho was piping hot which I appreciate you could see bits of pepper floating and it was served with lemon. Waitress said limes were too expensive at the time so that was a bit of a bummer but the bowl was so good it didn't need much. Usually I only add a squeeze of lime and jalapeƱo to my bowl because I love the broth. I don't like to add hoisin or sriracha to my bowl and it shouldn't need it if the broth is good. This is probably one of the best bowls I've had in a looooooooong time. I can't say enough about how much I loved my bowl of pho. Dip the meat in hoisin and sriracha and I was in heaven. My boyfriend also loved his bun bo hue. I would come here again and again it was PHOnomenal.
