Hiro is the real deal - a down to earth Japanese-run sushi place with delicious fresh fish. It was around 7pm on a weekday when I walked in. The dining room was pretty busy but they had a few seats at the sushi counter. I stuck to a side of miso eggplant and some nigiri. The fish was fresh and super flavorful; the rice was perfectly vinegared too. I also had a negitoro hand roll to end the meal, which was handed to me directly by the sushi chef, as you'd expect. You won't find fancy over the top rolls and service here, but you will find authentic, high quality nigiri and sashimi.
