| - This is one of those modern trendy spots that delivers in quality. After eating at some of the more unsavory spots stinking of cigarettes over the smokey gambling floor, it was refreshing to experience some quality food.
There was a little bit of a wait, but luckily we were waiting inside with a little air conditioning to keep us alive. While we were waiting we looked at the menu which was small and focused on a few varied crafted objects.
The place has a polished concrete floor. It has a modern factory look. However, something I thought was really cheesy was seeing someone's journal or notes posted all over the place. This was posted on a wall, taking up the space of the whole wall going on about some nonsense about seeing a flower or something. Here is where they were trying too hard to be cool. Another unnecessary decoration thing was the separate large bows for sides. This had a dramatic effect, but was awful when it came to actually eating the food.
I got the spin off a BLT. The bread reminded me of Texas Toast without the cheese. It was cut in very thick slices and was grilled on either side. When eating it, I felt it was a little too greasy because there was too much oil added to the bread. The sandwich had bacon, lettuce, tomato, and something else... I can't quite remember. I got the breakfast chive potatoes which were good in flavor, size, consistency... mmm.
There are several more items on the menu that I would have liked to have tried if I were to be in Vegas again sometime. I will return if I actually return to Vegas.
