Haven't been to a drive in since Lion King came out on the big screen, and hubby longer than me! Sooo we wanted to go see 'The Avengers' reallly badly on opening night, but had no babysitter, and didn't want to ditch the child. So we brought her along, but made sure we had plenty of her own entertainment.
Price was almost cheaper than a single ticket going to an AMC theater! ($13 for 2
We were NOT disappointed. Having a vehicle with a pretty good bose system (ok let's face it, you aren't missing much dialogue because MOST drivers will have their radios cranked up quite a bit so you can all share the surround sound effects!) So no need to worry about the quality of the sound as the stereos have gotten a lot better over the years.
Position was awesome for the movie. The flow could have been better for entering, and especially for parking. The young fellas didn't quite have a plan established for parking folks, so it was almost kinda every man for himself parking wise. Once parked, it was a blast! We had our little one bouncing all over the back doing whatever she wanted.
Unable to comment on food/beverage area since we brought our own in. (huge cost saver)
Some folks have forgotten etiquette going to drive ins, but I won't delve into that here. Just a humble request drivers to be courteous about the others around you, thank you!
