  • Even though their ranges max out at 25 yards, I have got to give Blackstone 5 stars for their great customer service. The first time I went there was with a girl who had just gotten an old .380 from her father. There was an issue where the round never chambered properly. We just used my guns instead, but after we were done shooting, one of the staff at the counter volunteered to take a look at the pistol and see if they could fix it. He couldn't fix it but he did suggest what the issue maybe. Another time I was there I was talking with the staff about the magazines I have been trying out for my modified SKS. I had two new mags that I was trying out that day. One worked fine while the other wouldn't allow the bolt of my SKS to go all way forward so the firing pin couldn't hit the bullet. I couldn't tell the difference between the two mags but the employee checked out both my gun and the magazine and let me know it was because the loader is pressed up to high and pushes the bolt up not allowing it to close fully. He even showed me how to take the mag apart. The place it's self it very clean, very professional, and they have several gun accessories you can buy there. They also have a fairly good selection of weapons for rent. I hear they will even have fully automatics for rent soon. It's a great range with a great staff right in the heart of the city. I'm very pleased this place has opened up. It's an all around great range and shop.
