  • I just left this studio extremely upset. Here's why. I requested someone contact me so I could try out a free class after my sister suggested it, as she is currently a member. I received a text asking when a good time would be to call me back and I replied back right away with "now is good". They didn't call me back for several hours and I missed the call. The next day (yesterday) someone called me to set up a time and we agreed upon the following morning at 8:45 (this morning). No further instructions were given. I figured I'd show up a few minutes early in case there was a waiver to sign and to get situated etc. At 8:06 I got a text reminder about the class which I thought was nice. At 8:19 I got another text saying I needed to show up 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Now the class starts in 25 minutes and I need time to drive there so meeting this request wasn't possible. When I got there a gentleman asked me if this was my first class there and I said yes and then asked where my home studio was. I said I'd never attended an ot class before and he asked if I had paperwork and the woman standing next to him who'd been on the phone got off and asked if I was leah and if I'd gotten her texts. I said I was and had. The guy said that typically new clients arrive 30 minutes early and I showed him the texts I received with the time stamp and stated that if I had been told this information yesterday when I spoke to the person on the phone I would have done so. He asked who I spoke to and The girl standing next to him said I had spoken to her and that she had told me about the early arrival which just wasn't true. I said no you never told me that and she argued back that she had with a smirk on her face. Seriously? I'm supposed to work out after being called a liar? There was a stack of papers to complete and apparently I was supposed to get an orientation to how it all works. I would have had to rush through everything while being irritated with the staff for essentially calling me a liar and the whole thing just didn't sit well with me so I stated that I would come at another time. The guy tried to convince me to stay or come back at a later time but at that point I was done. I was treated unprofessionally and thats unacceptable to me. Had she admitted that she forgot to tell me, I could have forgiven her and rescheduled the class or sucked it up and took the class anyways but there was no remorse from the staff at all. I am not going to hand over what is most likely a significant amount of my hard earned money to a company that treats their potential customers this way. I'll head over to the cross fit box down the street where they are welcoming and kind to potential customers. If you're looking for a place that is professional and treats potential clients well I can't suggest this place based on my experience and that's unfortunate. I was looking forward to seeing what all the excitement was about and to possibly becoming a part of this community.
