  • I have been going to epic salon for some time now. I liked my hair stylist and all. Last time I called they said my stylist was booked so I asked for someone else just like her to style my hair. Now normally I'm charged $15 for the style. This time I went in expecting the same. In fact I already shampooed my hair at home and all I wanted was a blow dry and some curls with the curling iron. When I was paying they charged me $47! When I asked why the drastic change in price they said 'oh this stylist is a level up from your usual one'. Well I almost started arguing that I didn't ask for 'a level up' stylist. In fact I specified I just needed someone else who was as good as my routine person.. I was in a rush and didn't have time to fight my case and just paid it but feel cheated considering they never warned me abt the price hike nor the stylist upgrade. Had I known I was paying $47 for a simple blow dry and curling iron job I would have done it myself. It's just a matter of principle you see... I have def considered a change in salon since this last experience.
