  • I wish there is an option for no star. I made 2 rental car reservations from E-Z Rent-A-Car at the Las Vegas airport. The staff did not greet us nor offer us an eye contact when we first approached the counter. I advised him that I have 2 reservations and two different drivers. I was going to pay for both reservations and the staff said "10 dollars extra". No explanation as far as why. So my cousin offered to use his debit card, then the staff rudely responded " please provide us your utility bill and full copy of your insurance", no explanation either. Finally we got all that straighten out, the staff did not even look up and said "you guys are limited to 100 miles per day being the local residents", I informed him that when i made my reservation through travelocity, it stated there will be unlimited mileage. He again rudely responded "there is nothing i can do, travelocity provides faulty information, you should review it through our website instead next time". I requested to speak with the supervisor, she came out and did not give us a chance to talk and then said "i can't waive our company policy and there is nothing we can do", no further explanation. I already sent an email to travelocity regarding the information I received. I also called Travelocity customer service and was told the information they have online was provided by E-Z Rent-A-Car. I ended up walking over to another rental car company, I paid a higher cost but I received a way better service. It would've been ok for the limited mile if the staff wasn't so rude and unprofessional. I hope the company takes this type of customer service seriously and address it accordingly, as this may affect the company's business in the long run. As a customer, I will make sure not to rent from this company and will advise all friends and family not to do business with this company as well if this is how they treat their customers. I travel throughout the US and obtain rental cars often. This is by far the worst rental car experience i had.
