| - When we first adopted our dog, our vet recommended this location, and new visitors can get a tour of the facilities. It is clean, and the dogs get ample indoor space, so we used them for over a year. I didn't like that daycare was an extra $14 per day, and without it the dogs only get two outdoor potty breaks, because their rates were already not cheap. But our dog always came back to us happy and unharmed, so we kept going back.
The kicker was, after more than 24 nights of boarding in a year, they told us that our dog was now 'too heavy' for the medium kennel (he is the same length and height he was when we started going) and so we needed to pay for a large kennel. I thought this was absurd since a little around the belly wasn't affecting his comfort (remember, I have seen the dog runs), so we stopped going.
It was sort of satisfying to get a voicemail from the manager about a week later wondering why we cancelled our 15 nights over the holidays, and offering us an alternative. Since the alternative was still an upcharge, I did not return that phone call.
Alternatively, I HIGHLY recommend "Gilbert Dogs 24/7" (See my 5-star review), which is only a few miles away from this location, and includes day care and a reduced second-dog rate (if that applies to you).
