| - Before you read this review and make your decision of whether or not this is where you want to stay, keep in mind I travel all over the country and 9/10 times I always stay at Comfort Suites everywhere. So my expectations could be fairly high as I do tend to compare them all to each other.
I'll start with the PROs. Number One: FAST INTERNET. The first time I was here the internet was down because of the big snow storm. However, the second stay the speed was over 15 Mbps! Another pro is that the front desk staff was amazing. Every time Ive checked in, they were very helpful. The 2nd time I came in which was about two weeks later, the same front desk clerk remembered me and got me exactly the same type of room that I had gotten the first time without me saying anything. The room is clean, the carpet clean enough to walk on without shoes. There is also a small gym with just 3 workout machines, an indoor pool, vending machines on every floor, business computer works well. Breakfast is pretty standard, no meat choice though. The hot items are eggs and french toast sticks. I forgot to mention, this hotel is only 10 mins from the airport, just a hop and a skip away right to the highway.
Here is the CONs. Actually, just one. Before my checkout, I was woken up early and even before I left, they knocked on my door again. This is quite frustrating and annoying. I called the front desk at 3am and requested a late checkout. They said no problem. I guess their communication between shifts is non-existence. I got a call at 10am asking if I was checking out. Of course, getting prematurely woken up makes a grumpy Angie. So I mumbled something and by then, I couldnt go back to sleep. As i shower and get ready to leave, 15 minutes before I was to checkout, a knock came at my door. It was a guy (seems like to be a manager) asking me when I was leaving. I had just gotten out of the shower with a tank top on and towel on my head, it was quite embarrassing. I understand they need the rooms for the incoming guests, but that doesnt mean they should rush the existing guests and make them feel unwanted.
