 | - If you come to this Louis Vuitton store at the Wynn, you must ask for Donna Sim.
I originally came in to look at an Alma BB for my mother's birthday (hellooo lower sales tax!), but got distracted when I asked if it was possible to repair the zipper and canvas warping on my Pochette Accessoires. She carefully examined it and said that LV probably wouldn't accept it since there was minor cracking along the piping. It's an old bag so I understood, but she took it to her manager just to make sure, without me asking. While she spoke with her manager, I looked around and fell in love with the Louise clutch and Alma BB. But since I was window shopping and not sure of which bag to get for my mother, I left the store empty-handed. Donna did give me a little card with all the pricing to repair my bag and info about the Louise, so that was really nice of her.
After visiting the LV store at Bellagio, I came back here the next day. Their Alma BB in Damier Ebene also had a minor (but fixable) dent, and Donna decided to call all the LV stores in the area to see if they had another one in perfect condition; and I didn't even ask her to! She was so proactive and on top of everything. Side note: it's strange to me that all LV stores only carry one in each model/size/leather. They don't receive any more, until they sell it. I understand this saves space, but it doesn't give customers the option to pick and choose. Regardless, I did end up purchasing the bag from Donna and couldn't be happier.
There was another SA (Lily?) who helped us on our second visit, before Donna came back from her lunch break, and her services were below par. She never once smiled and didn't seem friendly or caring. On the flip side, the manager was really nice and genuine, so your experience really depends on who your SA is. There was another SA helping my boyfriend with watches and she kept telling him that a Rolex was a waste of money and to get a LV watch instead because the quality would be better (lol ok).
Donna connected with my boyfriend and I on a level beyond any normal SA-and-client relationship. She was real with us and told us a lot of things I think other SAs would be hesitant to. She's also gorgeous and can pull off any look. When she came back from her lunch break, I didn't recognize her as she had a half-sleeve tattoo and her jet black hair was worn down. Pretty bad ass. But the minute she put on her LV uniform and pulled her hair back, she was so elegant and classy. Can you tell that I have a girl crush on her yet?
