  • I am so happy my boyfriend and I decided to move here to aura! We have been here for about a month now. The location is PERFECT! The property itself is beautiful. I love our apartment so much. It's so welcoming! I normally see the maintenance techs walking around in the morning on my way to work and they are always so nice! Jodi, Hawk, and Natalie at the front office are great. I had purchased an assigned covered space and the neighboring parking spot parked like a jerk, I contacted the office and haven't had issues since! The management team really cares about the property, you can tell by how clean and quiet it is. I have a couple of complaints...One is the fact I didn't even realize when touring that the windows do not open. I love to open my windows especially as the weather gets cooler because the air inside the apartment can get so stale. Weird thing not to notice but don't assume all windows open EVER!! Ha! Soooo as of lately, parking has been a nightmare for an unassigned space. I have one spot reserved that I pay for but now it looks like I'll be purchasing ANOTHER which isn't ideal. The apartment is expensive, I do live comfortably HOWEVER renting is already throwing away money and having to ADD to the bill MONTHLY is not what I was hoping for when I signed the lease. My previous apartment complex had an issue with parking spaces which is why I left. I understand it's apartment living but I lived in a complex that was a "C" property before and I NEVER had to worry about what time I got home because there was PLENTY of parking for all the residents in the complex (it was a huge property too!!). I currently have the one spot and usually get home at about 630 on weekdays and 530 on Saturday from work. I usually see at least a few unassigned spaces so I can get a space and my boyfriend works at the hospital and doesn't get home until about 930-10 in the evening and he takes our assigned space. However, I hate that even on my days off or when I just want to do something after work I try not to make it home after a certain hour because I want to make sure I can park my vehicle inside the complex.... Jodi sent out an email recently, however I don't believe it's doing very much about the parking situation. If you do decide Aura is your new home, I encourage you to purchase the assigned spaces otherwise you'll find yourself watching the clock to make sure you get home at a certain hour so you can have a parking space. (BOOOOO!) UPDATE: the new parking system has helped SO much
