rev:text	So if you are from the Bay then you can get a sense of this being similar to the Bart however it is much shorter and rides like the Grizzle roller coaster at Great America. This is all electronic and there is no driver. You can buy passes which is cheaper if you are looking to do a lot of tourist stuff and you don't want to brave the traffic in your rental car but I just like the convenience of it all because they charge 10.00 bucks just to park your car and you walk the same distance from the monorail as you would the parking lot but with a lot less headache of getting stuck in a long line to drive out the parking lot or go up the many levels to find that one green light that says the parking is open. Just keep in mind though that it does run at certain times so if you are planning to go clubbing then the best bet is to take lyft home but you can get there cheap by monorail and just bring your flip flops in your purse then you're not walking in your heels and end up in pain before you even start dancing or walking the strip. I looked online and it says you save ten percent but when I decided to just purchase at the ticket booth it was the same price. I recommend picking up one of their books because it has the whole map and stuff but more important it has coupons for many places so you can save a little extra. So save yourself the headache and time and just use the monorail especially if you are staying at the Stratosphere or Harrahs and you want to go to NYNY or MGM. It literally is a 6 minute ride. So sit back and relax and let the monorail do the driving for you. :}
