| - I used to come here frequently, as the shop is in close proximity to where I work, and sometimes you just have to settle for whatever coffee you can get. However, I don't come here much anymore and when I do, I usually end up disappointed, like I was today. Today I bought a cup of their cold brew (Nicaraguan) and it was quite watery with a hint of burned coffee taste. The time before last, I had their daily pour-over (I think it was the Ethiopian), made in a clever dripper, and it tasted like burned dirt. It was almost as bad as Starbucks pike place. This has become the norm for them every time I come in, and I probably won't be back unless I'm desperate. I've even bought bags of the Xanadu coffee they serve, brewed it multiple ways at home, and each time was bland. I guess if you like mediocre(at best) coffee, dry vegan pastries, and bad barista conversation, this would be the place for you. If you don't like that, then there are other options in town, where people are truly passionate about coffee and make a quality product every time.
