For a store that opened for a few weeks, they really tried their best to serve their customers. I ordered one Chinese sausage with seaweed waffle with matcha soft serve and another one was sesame waffle with vanilla and matcha soft serve. The seaweed Chinese sausage waffle is a good combination with a hint of saltiness from the sausage. The waffle was crispy and when you get to the bottom of the cup and stir in with the ice cream, you will taste a different texture of the waffle being soft and fluffy. The matcha ice cream was smooth yet not a strong taste of matcha that it will overpower the other flavor. Too much matcha can taste bitter. The sesame waffle was nice but hard to taste the flavor, maybe having a sesame sauce mix with the waffle batter would produce a stronger flavor. In a way it would be like squid ink pasta. The black would give your customer a wow factor. The service was good, they would take your order and bring the waffle to you when it is ready. I only waited for 15 min on a Sunday afternoon which is not bad. You just have to find the right time because right after I ordered, there was a long line up. The price some would say it's too expensive but I think it's not too bad. I'm sure a lot of us had paid almost the same price for crepe before so why not make Chinese waffle a premium food just like crepe. The portion is decent. I was full after eating just one. Overall, I did not give 5 stars due to the fact that there are plenty of rooms for improvement. One last note is to follow them on instagram as this is where they announce new flavor for very limited time.
