  • We have been part time AZ residents for 20+ years and up until this year have been fortunate enough to not need the care of a Vet. As our Yorkie aged, we knew at some point we would need vet care during our winter stay. As it turned out our pup needed surgery this past winter. The care we received from Dr. Phil Heitman and team was simply outstanding. The team is caring, compassionate and dedicated. Several months later, the day after our return to Vancouver Island we began to see medical issues (totally unrelated to the surgery) with our little guy. Wanting to cover all possibilities and different conditions between AZ and Vancouver Island it was suggested we engage Dr Heitman. He was generous enough to take my call, review the video we took of the medical conditions, consult with his team of Vets (Father and Brother) and offer to speak with our Vet clinic here. What a comfort it is to have found a clinic that cares so much about the welfare of our family member......thank you so much!!!!
