| - Spent almost $400 for set of 4 new tires and i was given wrong size tires but they dont want to fix it.
brought my car here friday (3-27-2015) to get all 4 of my tires replace and allign aswell, SHANE is the manager ( i believe he is one of the managers) who helped me.
Sunday morning when i looked at the car i noticed the extra beef on my tires and found out i was given wrong size tires 195/65/15 (car's original tire size is 195/60/15).
I called tireworks back the following day and spoke with SHANE and told him i got the wrong size tires and he told me to bring the car back and he will look at it, i told him not today i have plans but ill probly will tomorrow or wednesday. I went to the shop wednesday at around 7 am (i am writing this review just after i got home from the shop) and spoke to a different person, the guy said Shane is off today, i believe he is the opening manager that morning because it was only him and one other person (mechanic).
I told him what Shane and i discuss over the phone and he said that the extra thickness of the tire shouldnt make a difference, i said to him i wanted the right size tire i asked for, can you do it and will it cost me for swapping the right size tires??
he smiled akwardly and said ill see what i can do and i noticed he did not want to say it directly but yeah they are going to charge me because i was given this type tire and such................ blah blah..!!.
I asked him how long will it take seeing there is only one car in the shop they are working on he said i will have to leave the car (haha leave the car, NOPE i'd rather watch and see what they do) and hopefully he can get it done maybe 1pm or maybe the next day, he said they are booked for appointment the whole day AND that i dont even have an appointment (really for swapping 4 tires i'll have to wait that long). I got the look that he did'nt want to give me the correct size tires and he kept saying it shouldnt matter if its not the right size its only off by this much blah blahh.
Now knowing that they have alot of BAD REVIEWS on YELP specially, and most bad reviews said something about them being SHADY, i figured NAHH ill just take the car home and not leave it @ the shop, i read reviews about them draining your cars engine oil, not tightening the oil plug all the way, missing oil cap, car overheating down the road after getting service from them, spraying oil all over your oil pan (on purpose) making it look like its draining oil and you need a new one so they can charge you this amount and that.
I'm not sure if it would have been a different customer experience if it was Shane that day, but all i know is i am not going to come back here ever nor recommend anyone i know to this place, i should of stayed with DISCOUNT TIRE but their buy 3 get 1 free tire kind of blinded me:(
