  • I was walking downtown today in search of a new apartment with the boyfriend and we stumbled upon the Urban Brick. This relative to THE BRICK - the crazy huge industrial sized furniture department stores - was a great surprise because it carries very trendy and interesting looking furniture that is different from what the other stores have in stock. As well, the prices are amazing and they offer up the great "BRICK DEAL". The "BRICK DEAL" means you can finance the furniture and pay it off slowly over a course of a year or not pay for it for a year, save up and then pay it off once you ring in a new year. I saw some great stuff, like a leather covered head and foot board to dress up any bed for $699, a microfibre futon couch which can pull out into a Queen size bed for $400 and a chocolate brown leather couch for $700.
