After reviews and the atmosphere of the outside of the restaurant, I was looking forward to eating here this morning. Overall though I was quite disappointed for many reasons.
My husband was extremely disappointed because they were out of chicken fried steak on a Sunday morning at 11 am... and that's the only thing he gets at breakfast. He opted for the tuna sandwich which was fine.
The good:
- Great toast/bread
- Cute atmosphere
- Friendly people
The bad:
- Slow service (I had to ask for coffee refills)
- Have to wait outside with no misters (20+ minutes)
- Very bland hash browns
- Very hot inside (we were sat next to the door), but still when it was closed, it was hot!
- The house while cute is uncomfortable to sit in because people walking by cause your table to shake due to thin wooden floors
Overall my food tasted fine but I won't wait in the heat for it again. Decent prices ($22 for Tuna Melt, Omelet and 2 coffees).
