This was the worst dental experience I've ever received. I called two weeks ago and specifically booked a "cleaning". Obviously, since we were new patients, I understood that x rays and an exam would be involved. We arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and weren't seen until 20 minutes after our appointment (note---we both took off work this morning to come to this appointment and were told that we were the first appointments of the day so I was expecting to be seen on time). We were taken into a large room where all of the patients are seen together----very little privacy. The technicians were bickering back and forth---very unprofessional. As I was mid-x-ray, the tech told me that I wouldn't be receiving a cleaning today---today was just x ray's and a check up and then we'd need to come back another day for a cleaning. This was SUPER disappointing, especially knowing that I had requested a cleaning and both my husband and I had taken off for this very purpose. We ended up leaving then. The front desk manager was not accommodating at all.....she didn't apologize for the fact that we were not getting the cleaning we had asked for.....she did not empathize with the fact that we had lost out on money this morning to come to this appointment. She stated that we should "read Nevada law" and know that we needed a check-up first. Are you kidding me?! We will be following up with our insurance provider and filing a claim so that others will not have to go through the same experience.
