I checked in with Yelp and was offered a discounted family admission check-in offer. The staff claimed they'd never seen such a thing before, but decided to honor it anyway.
The art collection is good. The best works are in the final two rooms. If you are short on time and/or viewing with impatient kids, you might want to walk through the place in reverse. [Update: The Sweetie informs me that WE went through backwards. Anyway, make sure to go counter-clockwise, starting with the door at the far left when coming in the main entrance.]
The bookstore had nothing that caught my eye.
Outside, there is a small collection of trails through the woods and abandoned farmland. They are worth checking out.
The restaurant in the lobby has a couple items that can be modified to be vegan. They ran out of the dish 1/2 of us ordered and we had to quick come up with a second choice. They were also out of everyone's first choice of dessert. I had a pear+greens salad (without the cheese). It was pretty good.
