I came in for a battery to be replaced under warranty for my 07 Fusion. The battery was replaced but then my CD player wouldn't work. My a/c started turning on and blowing air when it was shut off too. This was while the car was in the service bay pick up area. Made arrangements with the service advisor to come back when I didn't have kids with me as he said, "wow, that's strange"
When I showed up to return visit. I was told it's going to cost me $49.95 for them to look at it. Absolutely not! I was told this has never happened and it's the first anyone's ever heard of these problems. I knew from the start there would be no resolution to the CD player or air acting up. They ran diagnostics on it and said that the CD player was acting up. But they don't repair them, they get replaced at the cost of $600. They couldn't find a problem with the air either. I've had my car for 7 years. I take care of it too. I'm furious that there's nothing they can do about it! Their service advisor on the first visit saw the problems. He's not at work on the second visit but I don't think it would have made a difference if he were here to say what happened.
