rev:text	1. The pimento cheese fries. I order pimento cheese fries PRETTY much every time I see them on the menu. These were really good. Very generous amount for an appetizer, 2 of us could not finish them. The cheese was good but it was on the more tame/bland side of pimento. I would order again! 2. I got the hot mess burger. This is a burger made with ground brisket and chuck I believe, and the waitress suggested I order it rare/medium-rare. While I will eat a steak that way, I am not as trusting when it comes to ground beef. I ordered the burger medium and it came well done. Luckily the delicious bacon-y cheese-y condiment and the jalapeno poppers on the burger made it so tasty and juicy that the meat being a bit dry didn't bother me. If you are all about the meat, I would check the doneness before the waitress leaves. I ate the entire thing, and the collards were delicious. 3. Hubs got the large brisket plate, and he ordered the brisket "fatty". I will say, my husband is a barbeque snob. He smokes his own meats and spends ridiculous amounts of time researching barbeque. The brisket was dry for him...especially since he ordered it fatty. He said the sauce and the flavor were good, but it seemed to be rushed due to trying to serve customers. He also remarked that the mac and cheese was some of the best he has ever had. So..all in all, we had some meat issues BUT we would definitely go back and try again. All the sides and the app were fantastic. The burger was still delicious even though it was well done.
