A first time cigar smokers dream place to learn all there is to know about cigars.
I've never had a real interest in cigars because I didn't know much about them. My partner decided it was time for us to have an adventure so we pulled up Yelp and since we were in the area headed over to Casa Fuente.
Located inside the Forum Shops, Casa Fuente is tucked back quietly in a corner with a nice open patio in front of the store and a quiet lounge and bar area. We were greeted by Jason who assured us he would walk us through every step after we let him know we were newbies.
We walked in the humidor where Jason showed us a few more mild cigars in different price ranges so we could select something we were comfortable with while giving us some history and background on cigars. We picked two that seemed to fit what we were looking for and headed out into the lounge area so he could cut and light them for us. We grabbed a seat at a high top and a cocktail waitress came over for our drink order.
Their specialty cocktail menu has a wide range of craft cocktails including a tangerine mojito, an old fashioned and a cucumber cooler which is what I ordered. They have also high end selections of bourbon, rye and scotch that pair well with their high end cigars.
I'd recommend this place for a relaxing evening with a nice cigar and a delicious cocktail. Jason and Rob were both friendly and helpful and made us want to come back again.
