rev:text	Went up here with my husband and two kids ( 7 and 10) on Sunday, i LOVE that they offer first responder discounts, my husband is a veteran but is having a hard time getting an ID, so he doesn't often get discounts, he's a Police Officer as well, and this is one of the few places who offer a year round discount to Police and Fire personnel so kudos for that! It's $5 to park, on top of your ticket prices unless you plan on parking blocks away and walking, I will say the whole museum is 80% fish, there is a small "hands on" area that has a huge stingray tank, and a small petting tank that has starfish, anemones, urchins etc. and I would say that was the fan favorite for everyone. The stingrays are in mating season so they were chasing each other and splashing everyone, my kids very much enjoyed that. Second best part was the shark tubes, you literally are inches away from huge sharks and big fish, swimming over top of you, and when we were there, the divers were cleaning the tank, the one gentleman saw my kids and was doing tricks with his mask and waving to them...they loved it, and as a parent it was appreciated, it's little things like that that can make an experience even better! Only complaint is I wish the museum was a bit bigger, rooms are very cramped, and there were bus loads of people coming from a family reunion, it was hard to really walk around without bumping into someone. Great little place though, very enjoyable for kids of all ages!
