To begin, most of the menu items they have on this year's Winterlicious is on the regular menu. It's just that the portions are smaller.
I had the chowder, mussels and doughnuts for this year's Winterlicious (lunch). The chowder was just a little thin/runny. I asked the server and he told us that each batch is different and that's likely the reason. The mussels were cooked well (nearly all mussels were plump). I wish we didn't eat all the bread at the beginning! The broth was asking for some bread!
The highlights of the meal were surprisingly the desserts. The maple butter glaze on the doughnuts definitely stood out for me. The pecans gave it some crunch. My friend's ice cream parfait was very unique. Citrus olive oil ice cream -- wow! Give me a tub of that!
