I liked some things about this hotel--but they are eclipsed by the fact that the telephones were not allowing me to receive calls on the hotel line on 3 different days in July. I was there for a full week before the republican convention so they couldn't have been too busy. One person tried to call me about 15 times, she said and just couldn't get through. On another day my son, a techie, tried to call me numerous times. So I had to originate calls and that sure did cost me plenty--$16 for one brief call. I asked to be reimbursed -- and after speaking with THREE 3 different hotel staff -- humiliated and exhausted by their stubbornness, I gave up. Cell phone service for me was poor there. They did not use the correct size sheets on the bed. It was a king bed with full/queen sheets that did not tuck in. A dirty dish was on the floor near the room when we arrived--from room service--and it stayed there three days until we complained. On two days they neglected to supply caffeine coffee. Our party/group spent a lot of money at this hotel and I think the general management was lacking. There were other issues but time is better spent.
