  • I called cox and wanted to terminate my landline telephone. It costs me $12.53 a month and I don't really need it. Talked to a woman on chat and she said, I'd lose the promotion if I dropped the telephone. I've had this phone for 7 years so can't remember any promotion. I was told, if I dropped the phone my internet bill would go up to $78.79 a month. It is now $67.32 a month. Now something looks strange. Actually, I am dropping the phone, but continuing to pay the $12.53 a month to Cox. NO savings at all. I told the woman, I'd just move the internet to another provider and leave cox for good. I'll find someone but I won't let cox rob me anymore.
