  • SLOWEST. Store. EVER! I came here today with my mom to switch her phone number over to my old iPhone because I got the new one. Sounds simple enough right? You would think you would be in and out for that kind of thing but NOPE. It was a Wednesday afternoon, we arrived around 2:30 pm. You check in with someone (with whom we had to hunt down; there was no one greeting us at the door) and you get put down on the list. It is up on a TV for your convenience so you can always see where you stand in line which I appreciated. There are tables and chairs set up around the perimeter of the store where customers get helped. I would say the store was moderately busy I'm guessing because of the new iPhone coming out just last Friday. However with their system, it feels like a coffee shop meet up... where they sit and talk to you for what seems like FOREVER. I totally get taking time with the customer, not rushing, answering every question and concern. But it really felt like employees were treating each one for an hour-long retail therapy sesh. Which would be great if there weren't 10 people waiting in line. Every time someone would finally leave, I noticed employees not even trying to promptly move on to the next person. Or some just standing around looking like they could help but won't. We came in being 4th or 5th in line and it took maybe 45 minutes for our turn. Then when we were finally being helped, it took way too long to just insert a freakin new SIM card into my mom's phone. The guy kept trying to back up my mom's phone for her via iCloud and do this and that even though I told him I could do it manually for her at home. It just took way too long and I wasn't planning on spending that much of my day in there. We finally left at 3:45. I've been helped faster on iPhone launch days in the smaller at&t stores.
