Value village is known as the "go to" for thrift shopping for most people.
Which is a shame because they are also known for having ridiculous markups on pricing.
$19.99 for a used pair of jeans? wow
That being said you can definitely stil get a great deal if you are persistent and can spend time digging.
I have found some great deals before on clothes, shoes and music.
The store is usually pretty clean with public restrooms, plenty of changerooms and space to shop.
Coming from a retail background, the fact that they don't colour block their clothes to make for a easier shopping experience bugs me, plus it just plain looks nicer presentation wise.
Valye village is just ok in my honest opinion.
They could learn a thing or two from Talize, especially regarding coupons.
