| - I really wanted to love this place, you have nothing to lose when you sign up because it's so cheap for the trial membership, but the actual memberships are pricey. I'm from LA originally so I know pricey gyms and this one tops even those. For what it is, it's not worth the cost. It's not like you're getting world class trainers for a top notch facility, it's pretty basic what you get, so I wouldn't expect to pay more than $10-15 a class but I think it came up to be $25+ per class depending on the package.
Aside from it being ridiculously expensive, I find it incredibly annoying you have to schedule your classes in advance. What is this, Soul Cycle? The classes are hardly ever full anyways and they still make you sign up. I don't know about you, but sometimes I can't commit a week in advance and I like being able to squeeze in a class when I can, you can't do that here.
Warning: After you sign up for a trial, use a Groupon, or whatever, they will bug you to NO END with phone calls. To the point where it's invasive, calling me multiple times a week asking if I would sign up for a full membership and if I wanted to pencil in my next class.
It's too bad for those things above because the people are great here and the classes are pretty fun. It's great cardio, but those 3 things I mentioned are deal breakers for me.
