  • If you want all of the cost but none of the glitz, this might be right for you. $130 for a night. Remember that number. I don't often (ever) use the term "ghetto as fuck" to describe anything, but I am sorely tempted here. I'm further tempted to post a bunch of pictures as this place is almost unreal. Set on The Strip, this is something that is akin to maybe $60 - $70/night anywhere else. In fact, if you paid more for a place like this anywhere else, you'd probably be pissed. Here we have peeling and cracked grout and tile in the bathroom, no bathroom fan, no bathroom window lock, carvings in the window frames, lots of noise through the walls and a very loud fan unit, that alternates between white noise, which is ok and a sort of banging that sounds like someone is trying to break in through the fan unit itself. We also have stained furniture and a broken rub stopper. There is, however, no refrigerator, but at least the room smelled like smoke. It is overall not exactly dirty but more kinda sorta clean. I find this place almost entertaining and amusing; it's so bad...it's almost comical. Getting into the parking lot is a chore and the office, while refreshing not to see a slot machine, is in an incredibly seedy setting, particularly with the shops surrounding it. It's set basically at the end of an alley. There is a pool, though! It's the only place I've stayed in this year where I had to fight to find the hot water in the shower...(it's mostly in the middle and not particularly hot, even at full blast - all the way over one way or the other goes to ice cold). The breakfast place, which I also visited for laughs, is also completely across the parking lot from the office and feature...wait for it....TOAST! Yep, hot mess and overpriced hot mess at that. For the money, you could stay at an actual nice place and have a box of tissues in the room or maybe a workout area, two more things this place didn't have... The one plus here is that the staff seems very friendly and the ice machine in the middle of the hallway worked and I'm really reaching here. Won't be returning here again...
