My 10 year old yellow lab hurt her leg badly one morning. We took her to her usual vet where they took xrays revealing a broken femur well up her leg. Our vet told us to go to LVVSC and I am glad she did. Dr Geels clearly and compassionately explained all of our options and all possible results from those options. We opted to amputate the broken, bone cancer ridden leg as the scan we did didn't indicate the cancer had spread. Our dog was extremely well cared for the entire 48 hours she was there. The front-office and back staff were amazingly friendly, equally compassionate and personable. Our girl is home and recovering very well after her experience. Strong recommendation across the board for LVVSC. Thank you so much for taking care of my doggie girl!
