Went here with my wife and two adult sons for a belated Father's Day celebration on a Wednesday night about 7. It was busy, not crowded and we were seated right away. The decor is very basic - there is a bar and two rooms with table seating. I didn't ask about the brewing facilities or if there is a tour as we were more interested in catching up with our sons after being out of town for a while. After perusing the beer menu (all beer is brewed on site) I decided to have the Trooper IPA, others had the porter and pale ale. There were a nice number of special seasonal beers on the menu and they also have a full bar for non-beer drinkers. All were quite tasty and refreshing. We ordered pretzel bites and wings for appetizers. The wings were medium, with most of the flavor coming from the rub which gave them a nice crispy crunch while being juicy on the inside. The pretzel bites were soft and chewy with a creamy cheese sauce with a bit of a bite.
For dinner I had pork and green chili which was a nice stew that came with soft tortilla wedges that had been roasted on the griddle. Nice blend of flavors in the stew - spice level was moderate (see my review of The Shed) but still quite nice and satisfying. For the stew I switched to their SB 1030 Session Pale Ale, the crispness of which paired nicely with the stew. If you don't know, SB 1030 was the Arizona law that allowed craft breweries and small batch wineries to compete on a more even footing with the large distributors and enabled many more craft breweries to open in the state (yea!).
I would definitely go back and if you live in this area and are into craft beer you must make this a regular stop.
