| - Living in Pittsburgh, one thing I really miss is waking up on a weekend morning and grabbing dim sum with friends. There is no real dim sum in Pittsburgh. It's a sad reality we have to live with. However, given that restriction, Everyday Noodles does a pretty damn good job with dumplings and potstickers.
When you walk in, you are greeted with the noise of chatter and the pounding of fresh noodles. I was in the mood for dumplings and potstickers though, so I skipped these (for now), and got the pork & crab meat soup dumplings. These are sooo good, you can really taste every element, the pork, the crab, the soup, and as someone who generally doesn't love too much ginger (sorry for those who do), the ginger flavor isn't so strong and the whole thing is soothing and delicious.
We also got the shrimp, pork, and vegetable potstickers. Crispy fried goodness on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside.
Speaking of dim sum, I haven't tried their shumai, but these dishes are so good, that I'll definitely be back to try more and more! I'm especially excited about their fresh noodle dishes. Until next time :)
