So after speaking with the Customer Representative she assured me that everything was fine and that my credit check had been approved and that all I had to do was go to a Wind Mobile store to setup my post-pay account. Needless to say I went to Wind Mobile at Yonge & Dundas in Toronto and I was told that the port that supposedly they started 10 days ago was not complete so they couldn't complete the activation and they couldn't setup an entirely new account. You really can't make this stuff up. It would be funny if it weren't your time, money and frustration that Wind Mobile was wasting. I will say that all the instore reps were very friendly and apologetic.
Anyway I finally got my post-pay phone and all is finally resolved. But the power of Social Media never ceases to amaze me. The ONLY thing these guys respond to is bad reviews on Yelp, fb and twitter.
