  • I meant to write this review the day we were last in which was Sun.1/14/18. We have been going to C T for years. Always great food and service. We love to take friends and sit in the booths in the bar....great atmosphere! 1/14 was especially notable. Our son and his fiance took us out to brunch, we decided on C T. It was busy, but we were able to grab a table outside. Our server was great.. he is from WI as am I. Our drinks came, our food came out. The food ended up being cold. The server came back to check on us, and I mentioned some of the food was quite cool. He apologized and took some of the food back . When he came back he told us they were comping out entire bill! There was a large party seated outside at the same time, and it caused a bit of a back up . The team there really did go over and above we thought and we thanked them. The food did come back completely re prepared and wonderful as always. I can't say enough was the wonderful meal and service we had that day. There are not a lot of places out there that would do the same. Thanks Calrsbad Tavern! We will be back soon I'm sure!
