| - The restaurant was fairly easy to find, it's tucked into a small strip mall area behind a gas station.
The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but our server greeted us almost immediately and got us water and our menus.
Now, for the food, my friends and I wanted to have a little taste of everything. So we decided with the veggie platter, the combination platter, and a lamb dish.
The food arrived and it looked beautiful! All of the different meats and veggies were neatly set atop their beautiful, spongy injera bread!
Our platter of food looked like an painter's palette, it was so colourful!
To be honest, I didn't know what I was eating at all, as in I don't know a lot of the names for the different items.
The injera bread was very chewy and spongy and it was delicious. The lamb wasn't too spicy and was full of gamey flavour from the lamb and its bones. The various vegetable items had a great variety of flavours and textures. Some veggies were sour, some were creamy, and some were very simple. All in all, the veggie platter items were all unique. The meat items were chewy and flavourful. You got a new combo of flavours with every bite you took.
The food was colourful, it was served on a huge platter of injera bread and looked beautiful. Each bite was a new flavour and it was very fun to eat!
I would absolutely recommend coming here to eat. Our server was very nice and everything came out in a timely manner.
I can't wait to go back!
