| - So today my friend and I walked into this nail salon for the first time, granted we came near closing, we would have been fine if they said no but they said yes so we sat down. I was getting just a hard gel manicure and my friend a pedicure and eye brow wax. So from my point for the both of our experience, it was hot, like it was uncomfortable, he said he didn't want to turn the air on because it was closing, fine, but then my lady started doing my nails, she said I remind her of Halloween and that I looked scary and questioned me for why I dress the way I do. Sorry but that's really mean. Then I warned her my nails are beyond paper thin and she files them down that it hurt and I told her and she didn't listen. And she broke 3 of my nails and didn't want to fix them, like um great now I have all my nails different lengths and different shapes. And then she went to put the gel on, she didn't cure the base coat then she put gel on and everything was so messy and on my skin/cuticle! So then she goes to shape them and she kept hurting me trying to get some of the gel off but um it's stuck to my skin. And I told her it hurt, so what ever we finished. The owner walked by and asked me and I was like they are okay but they are going to peel after a week, he said no they are fine. And okay well my paper thin nails hurt so bad and they have never before :/ I mean I'm grateful I paid the 50$ and tipped her 20$. But it sucks for what I got. And then my friend was told a price for her pedicure and they ended up charging her for more. They didn't didn't even warn her and she told her what she wanted prior to the service being done. Then she was told one price to remove the callus and the owner walked by and tripled the price!!! Like are you serious? And then I went with her to get her eye brows waxed. Lord geebuz! She was so messy and she didn't listen to what she wanted. The lady (the one that did my nails waxed her eyebrows) just wanted to do an easy clean up but my friend wanted an arch and then she was like okay what ever and then she was like just being messy. My friend's hair is covered in wax :/ we are hoping oil gets it out. And lord knows how, but there was wax on her pants too. Anyways. My point is. Don't ever go near closing time, ever. I paid the price :(
Update: okay so as I predicted, they started lifting and nails cracked. And weirdly enough. She filed my nails so thin, that on some of the nails free edge they came off from under the gel. I just wish they were nicer and apologized, or offered to fix it, not just assume they are right no matter what and I'm the customer and don't know anything.
