This was my first time trying this place and I was very impressed! My friend had the Tru Breakfast but subbed the bison burger for a regular angus beef burger, and I had the Italian burger. Both were cooked perfectly and tasted excellent! I was surprised at their selection of different meats (ranging from kobe beef to salmon burgers). It's true their menu is only limited to mostly burgers, but they do have other things to snack on (hot dogs and other such things), but if the place is called Tru Burger Co. then I would expect that from them. The service is very nice, and if I had to pick one thing to gripe about it's that the food took quite a long time to come out given the sparse amount of customers that were in the restaurant at the time. I know I wasn't the only one who thought this, because a couple of the other groups in the booths started to look around for their food after a while. The food was worth the wait though! And it wasn't that long of a wait; just long enough to notice. What really made me happy was that while the regular Tru Breakfast is around $16 they lowered the price for my friend's substitution! I don't recall the last time that happened anywhere I've been (since usually prices are set and substituting cheaper ingredients changes nothing). Can't wait to try this place again and try my hand at building my own burger next time! They have that option as well!
