  • My favorite Hawai'ian spot in Vegas! I LOVE going here. (Prefer this location over the express location near me, in Henderson.) There are a variety of local kine grindz to choose from that are a unique to this place. You wouldn't really think about going to a Hawaiian restaurant for a burger, but I LOVE their Big Burger! You're probably wondering, "Really?! Why?" There's a unique seasoning they use in the ground meat that makes it one of the best burgers I've had so far in Las Vegas. The patty is thick and seasoned well, served with thick cut fries. My go-tos are the furukaki chicken and furikake shrimp. They usually have the Hawaiian plate on Fridays, and other daily specials. Check out their white board near the front. You can also make your plates low carb by asking for mixed veggies (sliced and sauteed squash) instead of rice and macaroni salad. Make sure to save room for dessert or take it to go ;-). They have an amazing Kona Coffee Mud Pie, which is my go-to. Goes great with the Kona coffee they serve. They have a great list of other desserts as well. In December, they had Punalu'u French Toast!!! So ono! (So good/delicious!) It's definitely a must try. It's made with bread from the Punalu'u Bakery, the Southernmost bakery in the USA, on the Big Island at an area called South Point (the southernmost point in the USA.) They also sell loaves of it next door, at the Island Flavor Market. ** Note: Or they use to! :-( Found out on my last visit they don't sell Punalu'u bread anymore. (Please bring it back, if can! :-) ) TIP: Also check out their market next door for Hawaiian food, snacks, slippahs, 100% Kona coffee, chocolates, t-shirts, hats etc. There's always that Aloha service here from all the staff and it definitely makes me feel like I'm home. **I noticed on my last visit a week ago, that the portions were smaller, and some prices went up. I hope they go back to the serving size they had before. Mahalo. Still my favorite place to get Hawai'ian local kine grindz!
