  • DeSerres is similar to Michaels but the store decor is more colourful and with better lighting. The general selection of art supplies has sufficient stock. Although it may not be the cheapest place to get it, there are frequent sales and points collecting system that may give you some saving. The shelf design has some issues; when you take large drawing paper in and out, there is a chance to make dents on that. I cannot find one without dents. I was buying supplies to prepare for art exam portfolio for my child. I was not sure if the papers were the one I wanted because I was not an art student. The staff wasn't very friendly; I was in the store for more than 30 minutes and no one offered me help. However, the cashier was nice and seemed knowledgable on art supplies.
