Bless this place and their $5 hot yoga classes.
While the rest of this place's classes are pretty averagely-priced, I can't emphasize how great it is that they offer one affordable class every day at 1:30. Additionally Moksha's studios offer volunteer programs for folks willing to exchange a few hours of their time every week in exchange for all-you-can-yoga. If this place was a little more centrally located/nearby I would definitely consider doing it.
Clearly this place has their eye on the traditional community aspect of yoga. Much respect.
Considering that I only go to the community classes, I can't speak to any other class format. That being said, the community classes are generally packed, so be sure to arrive well in advance. The classes vary in difficulty and caliber depending on the instructor, but you'll be hard pressed to find one that's a bust. MJ's classes are extremely detail-oriented and often a bit more difficult. I'm really fond of Vanessa's classes. Her style reminds me a lot of the traditional ashtanga practices I did growing up (most modern yoga studios veer further away from this traditional format) and I generally feel pretty challenged by the practice.
I really haven't found a comparable studio for karma classes, highly recommend!
