  • 2016 For five years this has been my favorite East Valley short course with 11 par 3 holes (opportunities for a hole in one!). This season however it is unpleasantly WET: leaving shoes, clubs and balls a dirty mess from water not only on low spots but also on cart paths and knolls. So, many players clean club after every shot; two STAR penalty to course managers for delay of game. On the plus side, fast greens and Superstition Mountain views are still exceptional. Revised 6/2018. "Goldilocks" greens today were perfect: not too fast or too slow. Fewer wet spots. Nice 3 hour pace of play in spite of no ranger/starter at this time of year. Pro shop is back in main clubhouse and restaurant closed but snacks are available. If you are in pursuit of a hole in one this is again a great option.
