| - I'm surprised that this place got such low ratings. Every time me and the boyfriend have come here we've had no problems whatsoever. The guy who works at the register is such an honest and friendly person ( I can't quite remember his name) but everytime I had a question he was able to answer it as best as he could.
We needed an oil change and went to a few places to check their prices. a bunch of them tried to charge us $30+ even though we have an old Honda civic. Didn't sound right to us and so my boyfriend remembered his mom had a coupon for Purrfect Auto so we were like screw that! I cant remember if the coupon was for $14.99 or $10, either or it was less than $20. They changed our oil and we've had no problems since.
Just the other day we had to come back here because our Honda civic got broken into while my bf was at work. Some d-bag messed up something in our hood but thank god they didn't steal it, because our car HAS been stolen before.( but that's another story)
Anyways, the jerk did something to our car and it started making rattling and screeching noises. We couldn't figure out what it was so we took the car here to see if the mechanics could figure it out.
It JUST so happened that our car broke down as soon as we got there! Lucky, or else we would have had to call a tow truck, phew. The same awesome register guy was there and he was straight up about it, he said we would have to replace our starter because the car wouldn't even turn on for them to figure out that rattling and screeching problem we were talking about. We said okay, and so off they went to work on it.
My only complaint was that it was freaking hot and their lobby is so small that they don't have many seats for everyone whose waiting on their cars. Me and the boyfriend had to stand and walk around until a seat became available. However they did have AC inside so that's ok. Another complaint would be time, I think it took about 2 hours for them to get to our car, but I can't blame them because they had a bunch of cars that were before us to work on.
Anyway! Apparently after changing our old crappy starter to a brand spanking new one, the car was able to turn on!! Yay! And magically the rattling and screeching noise disappeared! So there was nothing else we needed to do. Thank god, we thought we'd have to pay like thousands of dollars to fix our old Honda. Thanks again awesome register guy and Purrfect Auto!
