This is the first time I've been back in years, and admittedly I'm doing it as a blogger, but I have to admit that the Stampede is way better than my original memories. The sponsors and the food offerings are by far more interesting and varied...and a little insane health wise, but you don't come to Stampede expecting a salad.
I've learned a lot of what goes on in the background, and especially their new green waste program with DIG, and I have to admit I'm seriously impressed. The new Agrium centre is of especial note for the education of the public and youth as well, and something I wholeheartedly recommend if you want your kids to learn the science and reality of agriculture farming. Thanks to Reg T and Bonni C for making this opportunity to learn far more in depth.
