| - EDIT- So I just received a call from mike an executive manager from AGR, he saw my review and called me personally! He was very sympathetic to my situation and offered to remedy the problem in anyway I'd like! We came to an agreement that worked great for my family and pets! I've changed it to a 5 star review because every company makes mistakes, but not every company takes the time to fix them and this company just went above and beyond to fix their mistake! I now feel fully confident in recommending and using them in the future knowing if there is a problem they will take care of it! Thanks AGR!
My husband and I have 4 rescue dogs and moved to a place that had a big yard for them. We wanted to put in artificial grass, but recycled is of course all we could afford with so many rescues (2 cats as well).. I read reviews and researched for a long time before settling on Artificial Grass Recyclers. I called them and reached a sales person out of California I believe. He said he'd reach out to the warehouse and see what they had. He called me back and told me a new batch from a football field would arrive Friday and that it was a very high quality grass. My husband and I went down first thing Friday and low and behold there was new batch like he had said. My husband and I were so ecstatic to get our pups decent grass that we purchased 3 rolls on the spot totaling almost $1000. We only needed two, but knew that there would be some white lines on it and patches that would not be able to be used. No problem, we understood it wasn't brand new perfect grass and were shown what possible white lines would be on it. We weren't moving into our house for a month, but didn't want to risk not getting the better cuts of grass for our pups so again, we bought it anyway. The gentlemen there recommended a landscaper to put in the grass and said we were more than welcome to leave our grass there and he would "set it aside" until we get it picked up and installed by said landscaper, SCORE! We immediately called the landscaper and set up our apt for a month out. The day comes to get the grass installed and the landscaper never showed.. I finally get another installer to go pick up the grass and do the job... I get a picture from the new landscaper at 8am showing us our grass because he was worried about its appearance... Artificial Grass Recyclers had SOLD our grass and clearly given us what was left over at the end of the month. They sent 4 PIECES (random sizes) not rolls of 7x65' as promised and they were horrible! Literally one whole roll was white.. I'll post pictures so you can see for yourself.. I called them after my landscapers sat around waiting for an answer and was told they had no more of that grass.. I called my salesperson from California back and asked for a refund on just one roll since our grass was sold and I now have landscapers trying to piece together shards of grass... he said they usually "want the grass back" for a refund but had no more of the quality grass we bought so we would have to have our landscapers return all the grass and end up with an even worse product for the original price.. and a days worth of labor for nothing.. um no thanks. We ended up getting $200 back and half our grass in the backyard is white.. again, we purchased PLENTY extra to avoid any white.. oh and we got the football teams symbol sent to us as well... if you do decide to go here because it is on the cheaper side, take your grass with you! And don't trust their recommendation for "Juan" he's not the "magician" with grass as they say, or maybe he is and we will just never know because he didn't show..
