I judge a pizza place based on their Margherita pizza. Maker's was OK. The dough is very chewy, which can be nice, but a bit overbearing. The mozzarella seemed to be a pipped soft cheese...? I prefer fresh, virgin mozzarella. The sauce was not memorable. Maybe the creative pizzas are better, but if you can't master a Margherita I remain skeptical.
Side note: they don't sell slices, which was a bit disappointing. They also "ran out" of small pizzas at 9 PM on a Friday night. A bit strange for a place that remains open till midnight.
