  • Slower than the other Alley. Drinks: 5/5 Wonderful curry. Pad Thai is good also. Service: 2/5 Very slow. Environment: 4/5 Nice environment. Washrooms: 4/5 Okay. Worth it?: 2/5 Other places to get drinks down Main Street Unionville. I am a big fan of The Alley but this new location was disappointing. It was a lazy afternoon and luckily there was no line up. We quickly ordered, I got the usual Royal no.9 with grass jelly, and proceeded to wait. And wait and wait. Little did we know, people were coming back for their drinks which was why this place felt empty. There were maybe 8 drinks ahead of us but each one took 5-6 minutes. For 2 guys, this was overly slow. I understand making sure each drink comes out wonderfully but watching these guys fumble around was irritating. No multitasking going on at all. Each drink was made one by one, step by step. We also decided to step out and come back for our drinks. I still love The Alley but will pass on this location for awhile until they iron out some kinks.
