  • FYI this is only a review of Cantina Laredo's happy hour, because I don't go any other time... Service is always amazing, which I appreciate. I sometimes feel that many restaurants/servers don't give as great of service during happy hour because they know the bill won't be as high as normal and hence, they will most likely receive less of a tip. However, with that being said, I'm happy to report that Cantina Laredo is not like that. :) From their happy hour menu, my husband is obsessed with the Ahi Tuna Tacos - gets them every time. I love the steak nachos and the cheeseburger sliders. You would think, meh, cheeseburger sliders at a Mexican restaurant? But no, they're pretty darn good. They have cheese, bacon and guacamole on them and they come with fries! Those are the things we love. Things we don't love: the empanadas. That's the only thing we've tried on the HH menu that we really didn't like at all. Their chips and salsa are great! I think it's fun that there is a warm temperature one and a cold temperature one. And heads up, their $5 casa rita is STRONG. Definitely a great value. :)
